TIRANA, January 5 – Camera traps captured images of wildlife in the country’s national parks.

Prime Minister Edi Rama shared a video on social media showing the “wild fauna in our national parks, revealed thanks to camera traps and the work of specialists in protected areas.”

The video features animals such as wild cats, wolves, foxes, great cormorants (migratory birds), buzzards, wild ducks, otters, a herd of chamois, and storks.

Wild animals live undisturbed in their habitats thanks to the hunting moratorium.

The placement of camera traps in protected areas aims to monitor wildlife while raising public awareness about the importance of nature and wildlife conservation.
