Prime Minister Edi Rama met today in Paris with French Justice Minister Gérald Darmanin.

Rama is in Paris to attend the “Coalition of the Willing for Ukraine” summit. President Emmanuel Macron convened the meeting at the Élysée Palace.

Before the summit sessions, Rama held talks with Darmanin.

Rama said they discussed the involvement of French partners in the working group on Albania’s criminal policy. They also focused on consolidating the new draft Penal Code. He stressed that the work will fully align with European standards and best practices.
