TIRANA, January 16 – As part of her visit to Kiev, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Elisa Spiropali visited the Medical Center of the Ministry of Interior. The center provides rehabilitation for those injured on the front lines of the war.

Spiropali spoke with soldiers undergoing treatment for serious injuries sustained while bravely defending Ukrainian territory. She noted, “Thousands have made and continue to make sublime sacrifices. Their families live with severe trauma from an unjust war.”

She added, “Their service, up to the point of sacrifice, defends human dignity and freedom across our continent.” Spiropali’s official visit to Kiev began yesterday. She met with senior Ukrainian officials and reaffirmed Albania’s support for Ukraine against massive attacks targeting civilians and critical infrastructure.
