TIRANA, January 19 – Prime Minister Edi Rama expressed solidarity following the fatal railway accident in Adamuz, Spain, where several people lost their lives.

In a message on X, he said Albania’s thoughts are with the victims’ families and with emergency teams working continuously to manage the consequences of the tragedy.

Meanwhile, Rama stated that he received the news with deep sorrow. He said that, on behalf of the Albanian people and himself, he conveyed condolences to the victims’ families and expressed solidarity with the people and the Government of Spain during this time of mourning.

Earlier reports said at least 39 people died and around 75 others suffered injuries after a train collision in southern Spain.
