Countdown to Fest 63: Symphony and Artists Prepare for Albania’s Biggest Music Showcase

With less than a month remaining until Albania’s largest and most significant music event, the Year-End Festival on Albanian Radio and Television (RTSH), Fest 63, the Symphony Orchestra and the music band are continuing rehearsals to deliver a spectacular show of Albanian pop music.
Conductor Alfred Kaçinari stated in an interview that this is a crucial preparatory phase, as soon the orchestra and band will be joined by the artists. “Today, the two groups have come together, and it is a very pleasant work phase for us. We are still without the singers, still in our own environment. Of course, there is pressure, as the orchestra is the most important part, handling the largest load with more than 50 pieces to be performed,” said Kaçinari.
The artists at Fest 63 will bring a variety of musical genres, but rock and pop music will dominate. “Rock and pop will be the most prominent,” Kaçinari added.
Thirty artists will compete for this year’s trophy, which could take them to the big stage of Eurovision 2025.
