Begaj Sees New Opportunities for Albanian-Greek Investment Growth

President Bajram Begaj attended a meeting of the Greek Business Association in Albania on the occasion of “Vasilopita Day.” He highlighted a new dynamic in economic cooperation between Albania and Greece through joint projects.

Begaj said, “There is potential for more, and significant room remains to increase mutual investments.”

He assured that “Albania offers a solid ground for any investor.”

The President outlined Albania’s advantages, emphasizing a dynamic economy, a stable currency, a healthy banking sector, and carefully managed public debt.

He praised elite companies operating in the country’s most strategic sectors.

Begaj added, “The presence of Greek investors in banking, energy, industry, construction, and trade is a key pillar of our economic stability and demonstrates the mutual trust built over years.”

He noted that Greece’s support in Albania’s EU integration process reflects a sincere friendship, now translating into closer economic cooperation. “In trade, developments are encouraging. Greece remains a top partner, ranking high in goods and services exchanges. Reciprocal exports continue to grow, showing our markets complement each other increasingly,” he said.

The President also recognized the Greek business community in Albania for its engagement in public dialogue and regulatory improvements, seeing it as proof of Albania’s progressive partnership.
