TIRANA, February 6 – Economy and Innovation Minister Delina Ibrahimaj met with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, during her official visit to Qatar.

Earlier in the meeting, the two officials discussed strengthening relations between Albania and Qatar. They reviewed joint initiatives and examined opportunities for new projects in the fields of economy, innovation, and technology.

Meanwhile, Ibrahimaj said the talks also addressed expanding economic cooperation. She noted a focus on identifying concrete investment opportunities, particularly in innovation, technology, and sustainable development.

In addition, the minister said the meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment to advance the partnership between the two countries. She stressed a focus on concrete results and long-term cooperation.

Earlier this month, Ibrahimaj took part in the World Governments Summit held in Dubai from February 3 to 5. She joined the panel titled Delivering Impact: GovTech for the Benefit of People and Businesses and presented Albania’s experience with GovTech and its practical impact on citizens and businesses.
