TIRANA, February 6 – Albanian Radio and Television (RTSH) Director General Eni Vasili signed a cooperation agreement between Albanian Radio and Television and ‘Radio Televisione Italiana’ (RAI) in Rome on Friday, February 6. The agreement aims to strengthen international collaboration in public media.

The signing marks an important step in consolidating institutional relations between the two public broadcasters. Vasili highlighted that the partnership creates opportunities for exchanging top Italian films and series, developing staff training programs, and sharing professional best practices.

In addition, the agreement includes the digitization of RTSH’s archive as part of ongoing efforts to preserve and modernize Albania’s audiovisual heritage.

Vasili underlined that the cooperation represents a long-term commitment to improving quality, modernizing operations, and aligning RTSH with European public media standards to serve the Albanian public.

She emphasized that this partnership will enhance staff capacities and professional standards. RTSH continues to strengthen its international collaboration in public media, aiming for tangible results and sustainable development.
