TIRANA, February 24 – The National Ensemble of Folk Songs and Dances performed for two consecutive nights. The concerts presented Albania’s most valuable heritage elements, recognized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization as part of humanity’s cultural legacy.

The show, titled “Wonders of Arbëria,” highlighted the country’s treasured spiritual heritage.

The audience also enjoyed other pieces that are moving toward this international recognition.

Attendees heard the lahuta, a traditional one-stringed musical instrument. They saw the xhubleta, a traditional layered skirt. They also experienced the power of Albanian polyphonic singing.

The performances created rare emotions and an authentic journey into the heart of Albania’s cultural identity.

The audience welcomed the performers warmly and enthusiastically during two nights celebrating Albanian tradition.
