EBRD report: Albania to maintain stable economic growth of 3.5% in 2026 and 2027

The Media and Information Agency announced that the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) reported 3.7% economic growth for Albania in 2025. The Bank projects a 3.5% annual growth for 2026 and 2027.
The EBRD report says that real estate, ICT services, and construction drove most of this growth.
Foreign direct investment reached a record level in 2025, mainly in real estate and financial services.
For the Western Balkans, the report predicts growth will rise to 3.1% in 2026 and 3.5% in 2027.
The Media and Information Agency noted that reforms to align with EU standards and new EU investments will remain key to sustaining this positive trend.
