At the “Forum” Hall of the Center for Openness and Dialogue (COD), another restored Albanian film was screened.

Thanks to the collaboration between the Center for Openness and Dialogue and the Central State Film Archive, the comedy “Përrallë nga e kaluara” was shown. The film, produced by Kinostudio “Shqipëria e Re,” is based on the novella “14 vjeç dhëndërr” by Andon Zako Çajupi. Director Dhimitër Anagnosti brought the novella to life with an unforgettable cast of actors in 1987.

The comedy tells the story of 14-year-old Gjino’s marriage to 28-year-old Marigo. The film unfolds Marigo’s revenge against those who orchestrated this unusual marriage, ultimately reuniting her with the man she truly loves.

Present at the screening was the Director of the Central State Film Archive, Marinela Ndria, who provided an overview of the restoration process and shared insights on the monumental work AQSHF (Central State Film Archive) has undertaken to preserve and present these national cinematic treasures to the public in optimal condition.
