A forum-idea discussion on Ben Blushi’s latest book and the conflicts faced by humanity

Author Ben Blushi was invited to the “Forum-Ideas” format, organized by the National Center for Books and Reading, as part of October’s Book Month.
According to the NCBR, his novel The Plot, the evolution of culture in new temporal contexts, the Albanian language, the war in Ukraine, the conflict in the Middle East, Europe and Albania in 2044, as well as migration, were integral topics of a discussion rich in value.
The event, held at the Pyramid, resulted in a conversation that transcended literature and the author’s latest novel. According to Blushi, the era in which we live feels like a page drawn from history books that recount how Europe and the world were engulfed in two world wars, which forcibly reshaped our history.
“The wars we thought could never happen again are now very close to us, and their consequences are highly unpredictable and entirely unknown.
In our world, everything moves at an accelerated pace, to the extent that political changes, alongside those in technology, are swiftly pushing us into a new era, one that bears no resemblance to the societies and rules we know.
What social order will we live under in 30 years? Is there an effort underway to reshape the global order?” These were some of the questions Blushi, in his capacity as a writer, posed for discussion with the diverse audience, composed of individuals from various backgrounds and professions.
