Albania promotes short drives, big discoveries concept

TIRANA, March 17 – The National Tourism Agency unveiled a new campaign, “Short drives, big discoveries,” highlighting Albania as a destination where every kilometer counts. The initiative encourages travelers to explore diverse landscapes and experiences within short distances.
The concept emphasizes that visitors can move from sun-soaked beaches to historic towns, from mountain scenery to authentic agri-tourism experiences, all within a few hours. The National Tourism Agency said these journeys offer a natural mosaic of cultural, culinary, and scenic discoveries across the country.
“Short distances, big emotions – every trip in Albania is a discovery in itself,” the agency said. It illustrated the idea with practical itineraries, showing how travelers can reach a coastal view, a panoramic mountaintop, or an archaeological site in minutes.
The National Tourism Agency aims to promote regional tourism and showcase Albania’s compact geography, allowing visitors to maximize experiences without long travel times. The campaign underscores the country’s versatility and accessibility for domestic and international tourists alike.
