Program of the German Cultural Week

On October 3rd, the German Cultural Week offers two significant cultural activities:

1. Exhibition “CityX-Me, Tirana” at the Tirana Art Gallery.
2. Activity of the Arka Youth Center, in close collaboration with the National Museum of Photography “Marubi,” focused on early photography techniques.

This five-day activity on the world of early photography is supported by the German Embassy in Tirana. Its unique program includes various techniques, ranging from direct positive paper photography and cyanotypes to wet collodion.

Part of today’s workshop is Jonas Ruhs, an analog photography expert from Berlin, who will explain the cyanotype technique. His colleague, Maximilian Zeitler, will be present in the following days to demonstrate the wet collodion technique and portrait shooting.

The German Cultural Week will continue until October 8th, offering a rich program of activities for all tastes and ages. From classical music and street rave parties to cinematography, innovative startups, and artistic exhibitions, this week promises plenty of excitement, inclusivity, and innovation.
