TIRANA, March 20 – Thousands of Muslim worshippers across Albania gathered today to perform prayers marking Eid al-Fitr, celebrating the end of Ramadan. The ceremonies reflected devotion, reflection, and communal solidarity.

In Gjirokastër, believers performed the prayers inside the Sports Palace, joining in supplications for peace, goodness, and prosperity. In Fier, the prayers were led by Imam Mikel Hazizolli, who emphasized daily reflection and commitment to God. He urged worshippers to value human virtues and reminded them that acts performed with sincerity carry lasting significance. Hazizolli also encouraged families to prioritize strong relationships, pray for healthy children, and support those in need.

Across Albania, mosques and public squares hosted prayers, reinforcing the communal spirit of Eid al-Fitr.
