“Traces of the Postal Service in Albanian Territories 1800-1944” is the title of Fadil Smajlaj’s book, launched at the Center for Openness and Dialogue (COD).

At the book launch, representatives from the Albanian Postal Service and the Authority of Electronic and Postal Communications, along with family members and admirers of the book, were present.

With extensive experience in the field of postal services, Fadil Smajlaj offers in this book a profound analysis, supported by evidence from various periods in the evolution of the postal system.

This book is a significant contribution to the study of Albanian history, reminding us that postal services are more than just a means of sending letters.

Smajlaj, who served in senior leadership positions at the Albanian Postal Service for 35 years, enriches the knowledge and historiography of the postal system across all areas where Albanians have lived and continue to live through this publication.
