Dozens of musical groups converge in Leskovik and Ersekë for the National Typological Saze Festival

Leskovik, a town rich in tradition, comes alive with the National Typological Saze Festival.

The Municipality of Kolonjë shared photos on social media from the event, where dozens of musical groups performed under the ancient plane tree.

Leskovik, known for its deep-rooted musical traditions and folk instruments, will once again host virtuoso musicians and singers on the second night of the festival, culminating on October 1st in the central square of Ersekë.

The Mayor of Kolonjë, Erion Isai, wrote on his online platform: “For two consecutive nights, this festival breathes life into the cradle of tradition, Leskovik, and will culminate on the third night in Ersekë.”

Musical groups from various cities across Albania brought authentic folk melodies to life through traditional instruments, preserving and promoting the country’s musical heritage.

Now established as a significant cultural tradition, this festival not only captivates the local community but also attracts numerous visitors, offering a unique experience of Albanian music and culture.
