The Supervisory Council of the Bank of Albania approved today the license for “Jet Bank,” the first digital bank in Albania.

First, according to the Bank of Albania, the bank will operate under the conditions and requirements of the approved license.

Next, the bank aims to introduce an innovative financial model. It will differ from traditional banking. It will focus on technology and easy customer access.

Furthermore, the entry of this bank will expand the market. As a result, it will increase competition among existing banks. It is also expected to lower costs and service fees for citizens and businesses.

Finally, there are currently 11 banks operating in Albania. With this new license, the total number rises to 12.
