The first episode of the highly anticipated Albanian series “The Prosecutor” will premiere in Tirana’s cinemas on October 10. Directed by Fatmir Doga and produced by Ylli Ujka and Çesk Ivanaj, the film, which falls under the action/drama genre, draws inspiration from everyday events, focusing on justice reform and the struggle of an honest prosecutor against organized crime and corrupt politicians.

Notably, “The Prosecutor” features the participation of renowned Hollywood actor Danny Glover, marking his first role in an Albanian production. Glover is well-known to Albanian audiences for his legendary roles in films such as “Lethal Weapon,” “The Color Purple,” “Predator 2,” and “Saw.” In the series, he portrays the American Ambassador in Tirana, who supports justice reform and aids in its implementation.

Under the exceptional direction of Fatmir Doga, the film follows Mentor Lika, a devoted Albanian prosecutor who prioritizes his country above all else and resists criminal gangs and corrupt politicians. For him, love for his homeland surpasses the interests of those lacking patriotism. The lead role is played by the talented Klodian Hoxha, alongside other prominent Albanian actors, including Romir Zalla, Gert Ferra, Marin Hoxha, Adriana Tolka, Sara Smaja, and Desada Xhihani.

The first episode will premiere for the Albanian public on October 10 at Cineplexx in TEG and will subsequently be screened in all cinemas.
