In the city of Asti, Italy, ASSO Albania Piemonte and the Cultural Center “Margarita Xhepa” organized the third parade of traditional Albanian songs and dances from various regions of Albania, under the title “Roots of the Heart.”

This grand event saw the participation of numerous cultural, artistic, and educational organizations from Albanian schools in Italy, including the “Zëri Atdheut” Cultural Association, based in Montebelluna.

Through the initiative of “Zëri Atdheut,” the Albanian novel Death Squadrons by Bardhyl Mahmuti was translated into Italian, with 1,000 copies of the first edition distributed for free.

In this red-and-black-themed parade through the streets of Asti, folklore groups from different regions of Albania took part, alongside Albanians residing and working in other Italian cities.
