The editorial teams responsible for the “Albanian Encyclopedia” have been convened in Prishtina

Work on the “Albanian Encyclopedia” is progressing, with editorial teams from Albania and Kosovo meeting in Prishtina to finalize terminology. Meetings will continue until September 26, with all 56 editorial teams (27 from Albania and 29 from Kosovo) expected to complete the standardization process by this date.
The Academy of Sciences reports that discussions focused on resolving issues with disputed units and ensuring consistency. Notably, the teams for archaeology and antiquity have established a unified terminology, while work is ongoing for other fields. The Tirana editorial team, despite a delayed start, has compiled over a thousand terms. The Prishtina team has also developed its own terminology, ready for further unification.
The Prishtina representative proposed completing the unified terminology by October 8, while the Tirana team requested additional time. Both teams aim to synchronize by the end of the year.
