The National Center of Cinematography has opened the call for financing projects titled “Day, Week, and Film Festivals”.

In the announcement shared online by the Minister of Economy, Culture, and Innovation, Blendi Gonxhja, it is stated that cinematographic institutions submitting projects for Days, Weeks, and Film Festivals must be registered at the National Center of Cinematography for the year 2024.

The projects of events celebrating the art and passion for world, European, and Albanian cinema must apply to the NCC by June 12, which is also the deadline.

The National Center of Cinematography (NCC) was established in 1997 and is the most important national institution encouraging, financing, and promoting cinematographic production in Albania. Through the administration of public funds, the NCC enables the development of the film industry in our country.

The NCC supports Albanian filmmakers, especially for international co-productions. This is an effective strategy to ensure distribution and a wider audience beyond borders. The NCC finances short films by young directors and also assists film students in their first cinematic productions.
