Slovenian President Natasha Pirc Musar paid a visit to Albanian Radio Television, during which she also attended a concert by the RTSH Orchestra, which performed pieces by the well-known Slovenian composer Bojan Adamic.

In this concert, the Slovenian president was accompanied by the president of the Republic, Bajram Begaj.

Ethnomusicologist Vasil Tole, present at the concert, emphasized that Bojan Adamiç has made a special contribution to Albania and Kosovo in the field of music. According to Tole, Adamic’s orchestrations have been a model for the musical class of Kosovo composers, for how modern orchestration is composed with the idioms of folk music.

This concert by the RTSH Orchestra was considered as a recognition of Adamic’s figure and contribution to Albanian music.

In addition to the Albanian Radio and Television, the Academy of Sciences has also remembered the Slovenian composer with several activities. Also, the Ministry of Economy, Culture and Innovation or the International Book Center have supported and financed the publication of the book “Composer Bojan Adamiç in Albania”.
