RTSH symphony orchestra – Premiere, Symphony no. 7 by composer Bruckner on May 17

Following the concert season, the Albanian Radio Television Symphony Orchestra will hold its next concert on Friday, May 17th. As part of the 200th anniversary of the birth of the Austrian composer Bruckner, his symphony will be performed for the first time in Albania.
The concert is organized in collaboration with the Austrian Embassy in Tirana. The German conductor Daniel Gajs, considered one of the most versatile musicians of his generation, explains the diversity that the program will contain.
“It is a very special moment because the works of a composer whose pieces are performed most frequently in German-speaking countries as well as in Austria but also worldwide, will be performed in Albania.
The concert will bring Beethoven’s Fidelio Overture as well as Bruckner’s Symphony No. 7, which is being played for the first time in Albania due to the fact that some instruments are currently missing in Albania. However, in this case, it became possible with the support of the Austrian Embassy,” said the German conductor Daniel Gajs.
The concert of the RTSH Symphony Orchestra will take place on May 17th at Artubina at 7:00 PM.
