Minister Blendi Gonxhja announced that the International Cultural Weeks (ICW)  are back tomorrow.

Just like in past editions, ICW will take place from May to November. Albania will host cultures from around the world, with a rich calendar of activities, artists, and performances, full of surprises and new energy.

The Minister of Economy, Culture, and Innovation invited Albanians to join the festive evening of the opening of the International Cultural Weeks, which will take place tomorrow (May 1) at 8:00 PM in Skanderbeg Square.

The International Cultural Weeks thus begin their third journey in Albania. The two previous editions brought hundreds of artists from around the world to Tirana and other cities in the country.

ICW started as an initiative of the former Ministry of Culture in 2022, with the desire to convey values and traditions, promote cultural exchange, and inspire innovation.

Through this project, countries get to know each other better, relationships with international partners are strengthened, and the range of cultural activities in Albania is expanded for all tastes and ages. ICW transforms the cultural activity scene in the country into a multicultural and multidisciplinary international arena.
