TIRANA, July 23 – Spanish travel platform Skyscanner has included Albania among the 20 most affordable destinations in the world for holidays. The platform highlights the country’s combination of low costs, natural landscapes and authentic travel experiences.

In its article on budget-friendly destinations, Skyscanner encourages travellers to explore places that offer quality experiences without high expenses. The platform notes that several attractive destinations remain affordable despite rising prices in many parts of Western Europe, North America and Asia.

The Spanish media outlet highlights Albania’s Mediterranean coastline, mentioning the Albanian Riviera, Ksamil, Himara and Dhërmi for their clear waters, coastal villages and mountain landscapes. It also points to Berat and Gjirokastër, both listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites, as well as the Albanian Alps, which it describes as among Europe’s best areas for hiking.

According to Skyscanner, Albania remains a competitive option for visitors seeking a warm climate, Mediterranean scenery and cultural heritage. The platform estimates that travellers can enjoy the country with a daily budget of €40 to €70, while avoiding the higher costs of more traditional European destinations.
