TIRANA, July 27 – A young couple from the United States chose Valbona in northern Albania as the first stop of their European trip and honeymoon. They said the Albanian Alps have become one of the most beautiful destinations they have visited.

The couple arrived in Albania two days ago and spent their first days exploring the Valbona Valley. They said the natural landscapes and clear waters left a strong impression on them.

Meanwhile, they discovered Albania through recommendations from two Scottish travellers who had explored Europe. The travellers told them that Albania was their favourite destination.

The couple said they would stay one more day in Valbona before hiking to Theth, where they plan to spend three days. They also highlighted the clean blue waters and the mountain scenery they experienced during their visit.

The visitors said this was their first trip to Albania and their first visit to Europe. They added that they married four days before arriving in the country and chose the Albanian Alps for their honeymoon.

Their journey will continue from Valbona to Theth, where they will explore mountain trails and alpine landscapes that attract thousands of visitors from around the world every year.
