Young writers, Suad Arill, Brajan Sukaj, Dionis Prifti and Flogerta Krypi will be present at the International Book Fair in Leipzig, Germany.

“A program full of activities and discussions on the Albanian book, in wider space contexts, and on the contemporary Albanian literature, tradition, language, and translation will be held from March 21 to May 24 by the National Center for Books and Reading,” wrote the Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation, Blendi Gonxhja.

The well-known Albanian writer, Rita Petro, as well as the Slovakian albanologist, Zuzana Finger and the researcher Loreta Schillock, will be part of the arrangements in the Albanian pavilion at the International Book Fair in Leipzig, in respect to the challenges of translation into the Albanian language.

The Leipzig Fair is the most important spring meeting of the book and media industry. There will be 2082 exhibitors from over 40 countries.

It is anticipated that there will be 274,000 visitors to the exhibition center and throughout the city, of which 55,000 will be trade visitors and around 3,554 journalists.
