Albanian President, Bajram Begaj participated last night in the “Sofra e Elbasanit” /Table of Elbasan/, a traditional celebration of this city, which is organized by the municipality every spring.

President Begaj greeted the Elbasan hosts for keeping alive the tradition of laying this table, and wished the arrival of a prosperous season for every Albanian family.

The Head of State stated that by preserving the ancient tradition of the “Summer Day” Table, Elbasan conveys the values ​​of generosity and kindness.

“This is a Holiday that brings people together and I feel honored to be today at this spring mahogany that brings us together and to be grateful for all the blessings we enjoy. I wish that we preserve and inherit the tradition of Albanian hospitality,” said the President of the Republic.
