Government Unveils “BESA” Vision for a European Albania

Deputy Prime Minister Albana Koçiu has outlined the four pillars of the government’s “BESA” strategic platform, presenting it as a guide for Albania’s path toward the European Union.
Following an extended cabinet meeting in Pogradec, Koçiu said the government’s “Albania 2030” team will focus on staying close to citizens and responding to their everyday needs.
According to Koçiu, “BESA” stands for four key principles: trust, empathy, services and commitment.
Trust means building confidence in the country’s shared future. Empathy means listening to citizens and understanding their concerns. Services focus on improving everyday life in cities, villages and communities. Finally, commitment means continuing Albania’s progress toward EU membership.
Koçiu said the government will keep its focus on citizens while working toward a more European Albania.
She stressed that the country’s European future will depend on the work and decisions made every day.
