TIRANA, August 28 – Tirana International Airport recorded its busiest day on August 17, with more than 60,000 passengers and 326 aircraft movements in 24 hours.

The airport reported 60,291 passengers and 326 aircraft movements, marking a new record for daily traffic.
Meanwhile, 32 airlines connected Tirana with 79 destinations around the world. Italy, the United Kingdom, Poland, Turkey and Belgium recorded the highest passenger numbers.

Tirana International Airport said the new record reflected the continued growth of air traffic and the expansion of Albania’s connections with the rest of the world.
