“Il Tritticio”, three operas in one, Puccini’s masterpiece returns to Opera and Ballet National Theater

One of Giacomo Puccini’s masterpieces, “Il Trittico” returns to the National Theater of Opera and Ballet after almost a decade. It is three operas in one. The show starts with “Il Tabarro” to continue with “Sour Angelica” and to close with the opera “Gianni Schicchi”.
In addition to the well-known names of the Albanian opera stage, this triptych has also brought Italian ones. “Il Trittico” arrives under the direction of maestro Nicolo Jacopo Supa.
Directed by Ada Gurra, the Opera and Ballet National Theater Choir, the Choir of White Voices play an important role in this show. The three stage scenographies which were brought all the way from Italy for this show, and which change in one night, make “Il Trittico” not just a show, but an experience too.
The tragic ending is the element that unites the three works, although of completely different contents.
The dynamics will take you from the scene of a love story in the Paris of romances, to a monastery where a mother suffers the punishment of not being able to meet her child, to end with the last act in Florence.
The drama of “Il Trittico”, the emotions and the interpretation keep the audience gripped for more than three hours.
“Il Trittico” will continue to be on stage during March 1, 2, and 3 at the National Theater of Opera and Ballet.
