The symphony orchestra of the Albanian Radio Television will present its next concert featuring a program by the composers Samuel Barber and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto in D major, known for its lyrical beauty and technical challenges, is his only violin concerto.

Invited to this concert is the violinist Ioana Cristina Goicea. The concert will be conducted by maestro Gridi Kraja.

“This concert features two works for strings. It opens with the famous Adagio by Barber, followed by the orchestra accompanying the very talented violinist Ioana Goicea in one of Tchaikovsky’s most important concertos. Finally, we will hear a Serenade for Strings in four movements by Tchaikovsky,” said maestro Kraja.

The concert of the RTSH Symphony Orchestra will be held on March 1 at 19:00 at the cultural center of the Orthodox Cathedral.
