The Japanese Embassy in Albania, in collaboration with the Shkodër municipality and the public library “Marin Barleti,” organized the photo exhibition “Journey to Japan.”

Present at the inauguration ceremony of this exhibition was the Ambassador of Japan to the country, Kato Kikuko, the Mayor of Shkodër, Benet Beci, the Prefect Majlinda Angoni, local institution leaders, representatives of religious communities, and other invited guests.

The photos captured in various locations and moments depict the marvelous and colorful nature of Japan, its new and old architecture, as well as the vibrant lifestyle of the Japanese people.

The exhibition will remain open until March 11th, at the premises of the public library “Marin Barleti.”

Earlier, Mayor Beci welcomed the Ambassador of Japan to Albania, Kato Kikuko, to a meeting. During the meeting, Beci and Kikuko discussed the good relations over the years between Shkodër and Japan.

Beci assured the ambassador of the opportunities and favorable business climate that Shkodër offers to Japanese investors.
