TIRANA, September 2 – Italian media outlet Io Donna has highlighted Albania as one of the Mediterranean’s attractive destinations for September holidays, offering beaches, nature and lower prices after the summer peak.

In an article by Simona Sirianni, Io Donna points to Sarandë, Himarë and Dhërmi as destinations where visitors can enjoy clear waters and rocky landscapes at significantly lower costs than in August.

The article says September brings quieter beaches and more affordable accommodation and dining. A seafood dinner by the sea or a stay at a design hotel can cost around half the price charged in August.

Io Donna places Albania among five Mediterranean destinations offering more affordable September holidays. The list also includes Greece and the Ionian Islands, Malta and Gozo, Sardinia and southern Italy.
