Sunday marked the conclusion of the carnival activities in the city of Shkodër with music, traditional dances, and the burning of the ‘scarecrow’.  In the city center, there was a performance by actors from the “Migjeni” theater, with traditional dances and music from the city band.

Guests from Tuzi and Korça were also present, as citizens who participated in the carnivals with masks expressed that carnivals cannot be done in any other city like in Shkodër.

During the activity, there was also a parade along the main streets and pedestrian areas of the city of Shkodër, which attracted the attention of other citizens.

Part of the activity was also Prime Minister Edi Rama, along with his family, who went to Shkodër a night before to witness these celebrations up close. After 3 days, the carnivals in Shkodër ended with the burning of the ‘scarecrow’ near the “Mother Teresa” square.
