Academics from Tirana and Prishtina recently held a working meeting at the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Kosovo (ASHAK) to draft the “Albanian Encyclopedia.”

Academic Anastas Angjeli, coordinator of the local newsroom in Tirana for the economy-finance-trade group, visited Pristina to discuss with academics Isa Mustafa, Justina Shiroka-Pula, and Besnik Krasniqi, as well as with members of the newsrooms responsible for the current state of work in drafting and proposing wording for the “Albanian Encyclopedia.”

The meeting took place at ASHAK, with the presence of leaders and members of the editorial offices of the group of fields (economy, finance, trade).

The participants focused on exchanging opinions on harmonizing the list of encyclopedic articles that the respective editors have prepared so far.

They also discussed further coordination of the work for the final selection and refinement of the wording, as well as the division of work with the contributing authors.

By March 31, 2024, the field editors must complete the preliminary list of encyclopedic articles for their respective fields. This will pave the way for further discussions among the senior editors.
