The Minister of Economy, Culture, and Innovation, Blendi Gonxhja, has pledged that the institution he leads will prioritize resolving bureaucratic issues that have been pending since 2019. This includes the beautiful project of reviving the Prek Tower and Museum Cali, dedicated to the Martyr of Democracy and leader of Kelmendi.

Gonxhja hosted leaders of the “Prek Cali” foundation in New York, where they discussed not only the revival of the Prek Cali Tower and Museum but also other projects under his ministry’s purview.

Gonxhja also stated that work on the Museum of the Highland Lute will be accelerated, considering it a precious heritage of our national identity and history. Minister Gonxhja assured that these initiatives will receive energetic support from the Ministry of Economy, Culture, and Innovation.

“I apologized to the leaders of the “Touch Cali” Foundation in New York, and through them, to all members, for the delays from our state apparatus. I also thanked them for their commitment and contributions as part of the diaspora working for their homeland,” expressed the minister in a meeting with representatives of the “Prek Cali” Foundation.

Blendi Gonxhja further expressed gratitude to the patriots of the diaspora for their understanding, as well as to all Albanians eagerly anticipating the materialization of their pride in the traditions of the Great Highlands.
