A powerful text by Stefano Massini, directed by Driada Dervishi, brings together 11 actors. The drama ‘7 Minutes,’ which deals with the dignity and rights of workers, continues its tour and will soon be staged at the Palace of Culture in Erseka.

In this performance, a group of renowned actresses will interpret the roles in this drama: Yllka Mujo, Luiza Xhuvani, Zamira Kita, Olta Daku, Anila Bisha, Rudina Dembacaj, Adelina Muça, Alesia Xhemalaj, Paola Kodra, Ajlin Petrela, and Xhoana Karaj.

The theatrical piece tells the story of a group of female workers in a textile business that is being acquired by a multinational company. Initially relieved that there will be no job cuts, the women discover a particular point in the sales agreement. Confined in a room, the 11 women debate whether to accept a 7-minute lunch break. At first, 7 minutes seems insignificant, but as the debate intensifies, each woman brings her entire life into that room before casting her vote.
