Albanian painters and sculptors, exhibition in Spreitenbach, Zurich

Exhibitions of the works of Albanian artists in Switzerland are undoubtedly aimed at promoting culture and identity, but also art in general, bringing to the Swiss public the history, tradition and cultural values of the countries of origin.
This representation of art in another country, like Switzerland, also serves as a form of cultural diplomacy.
The exhibition of the works of 17 Albanian artists from Albania, Kosovo and the Presheva Valley at the Spreitenbach City Gallery, which opened its doors on January 26, 2024 and will remain open until March 1, can also contribute to building contacts and positive relations between Albania, Kosovo and Switzerland.
The ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of Albania in Bern, Mustafa Nano, accompanied by the First Secretary, Valon Gashi, diplomats from the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo, the Consulate General of the RKS in Zurich and Geneva, artists and many citizens.
These international exhibitions provide the opportunity for Albanian painters to share their talent with a wider audience.
This can lead to their international recognition and increase their value on the global artistic scene.
