Rama: Digitization of over 400 objects of cultural property, seized during police operations

Work has kicked off for the digitization of over 400 objects assessed as cultural property, which have been seized by various police operations.
“Work is starting on the digitization of over 400 seized objects assessed as cultural property in the laboratory that serves for the digitization of objects that will be subject to restoration, and that today are found in museums and archaeological sites”, Prime Minister Edi Rama said today through a post on social networks, as he shared photos from the objects expected to be digitized.
While the Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation, Blendi Gonxhja, said yesterday that, “Implementation of advanced technology, RTI and 3D methods, in the National Unit for Digitization of Cultural Heritage, project supported by AADF “To empower museums through technology”, offers the possibility not only for a better documentation of the objects, but helps in the in-depth identification of elements, hidden details or their origin while preserving the digital identity of the cultural heritage”.
