During the recent years, handicrafts have become more and more in the center of attention, while it is precisely the young people who are focusing on these handicrafts, turning them into full-time jobs.

For several years, Adelina has also devoted herself to handicrafts in the macrame technique.

“It all started with my granddaughter, who wanted me to do some handiwork for her. I made her a swing. Then they asked me for dresses at school and that’s how the passion turned to work,” says Adelina.

Bags, jewelry, decorative decors, clothing, are just some of the diversity of her works.

But what are some of the difficulties Adelina faces?

“The biggest difficulties are in getting new ideas, as to the naked eye the works all look the same,” says Adelina.

The art of weaving like Penelope of old times, continues to weave beautiful dreams.
