The performance of the “Jehona Jonë” [Our Echoes] Folk Ensemble at the National Theater of Opera and Ballet, on the evening of January 16, was composed of songs and dances and, performances from all Albanian lands.

From Çamëria to Kosova and from Ionian Coast to Mount Korabi, the public enjoyed the most beautiful Albanian traditions, a variety of songs  and dances, which have been masterly performed by the artists of the National Folk Ensemble.

The soloists of this special concert were Denisa Gjezo, Iris Bega, Aranit Hoxhaj, Lekë Pecnikaj, Avni Miraka, etc.

The tradition of Albanian folk songs and dances is quite ancient, while it is important to preserve this wealth from one generation to another, as in this show where it was precisely the new generation that performed the dances.
