Defence Minister Ermal Nufi paid tribute to Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, founder of the Republic of Turkey, during an official visit to the country.

In a social media post, Nufi shared moments from his visit to Atatürk’s mausoleum. He described the visit as an opportunity to reflect on Turkish history, vision and the country’s journey. Meanwhile, he expressed respect for Ataturk and the Turkish people, highlighting their longstanding friendship with Albania.

Nufi also praised relations between Albania and Turkey. He said the two countries build on historical ties and sustained bilateral cooperation.
