Albanian Foreign Minister Ferit Hoxha has expressed condolences to the families of the victims of a military helicopter crash near Brčko, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The crash involved a helicopter linked to the EUFOR mission. It killed three people and injured 12 others.

Hoxha extended Albania’s condolences to the victims’ families, the Italian government and the Italian people. He also wished the injured a full and speedy recovery.

He stressed that Albania stands firmly with Italy, its NATO ally, and the entire EUFOR community.

Albanian military personnel serve alongside Italian and other international troops in EUFOR Althea, the European Union’s mission to support peace and stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
