Egnatia Come from Behind to Beat Tirana 2-1 and Extend Superiore Lead

Egnatia came from behind to defeat Tirana 2-1 on Sunday in Week 10 of Albania’s Abissnet Superiore. The match took place at Vora Stadium, where Tirana took an early lead. Hazrollaj opened the scoring in the fourth minute, putting the capital side ahead.
However, Egnatia fought back before the break. Loukili equalized in the first half and dedicated his goal to injured teammate Eljon Sota. The visitors then completed the comeback in the 77th minute through Diabate.
Injuries also disrupted Egnatia’s performance. Eneo Bitri left the pitch in the first half, while Ildi Gruda suffered an injury after the break. Despite these setbacks, Egnatia secured all three points and strengthened its position at the top of the standings.
The team will now turn its attention to European competition. On November 5, Egnatia will face Universitatea Craiova in its next UEFA Conference League fixture.
