Albania will experience unsettled weather today, with sunny intervals and moderate to dense cloud cover, mainly after midday.

According to the Military Meteorological Service, rain will begin in the south around midday before gradually spreading across the country. Showers will generally remain light. However, the southern and parts of central Albania may experience brief thunderstorms with lightning.

Dense fog and mist are also expected in the morning and during periods of rainfall.

Meanwhile, winds will blow from the northeast to southeast at average speeds of around 9 metres per second. Coastal and valley areas may see stronger gusts of up to 19 metres per second.

At sea, wave conditions are expected to reach force 3 to 5.
