History records that on the morning of May 31, 1906, a young man named Theofan Stilian Noli appeared at the Ellis Island immigration building in New York Bay.

This is where the first volume of the book Fan Noli begins by Ilir Ikonomi, which follows Noli since his arrival in America in 1906 until 1920.

The author says that the book outlined 10 years ago will now be in the hands of the reader, as a result of an in-depth and extensive study.

“Newton said, when you read the biography of a great man, you stand on the shoulders of a giant”, said Ilir Ikonomi.

The book is characterized by correspondence, diaries written by Noli, while Nevila Nika, former director of the State Archive, tells more about one of the sources where the author has researched.

“The documents are very complex because, in addition to his creativity, there are correspondence exchange, diaries, and important documents,” said the former director of the Archive Nevila Nika.

The second volume of the book on Fan Noli is expected to be published the coming year, while, a third volume is also expected to publish.
