As part of the “Women’s Month”, the exhibition “Horizon Woman” was opened yesterday evening at the Tirana Art Gallery, where today’s women are presented in front of iconic paintings.

“Positioning women according to historical periods will make us reflect on her development, together with light and shadows and reflection on what can be done better in the future”, says curator Jetona Koçibelli.

The exhibition, which is supported by the Municipality of Tirana, has Zhaklin Lekatari, Valentina Leskaj, Rita Petro, Mimoza Ahmeti, Anila Hoxha, Arlinda Dudaj, Luiza Gega, Irma Libohova, Nevila Nika and many other women as protagonists.

The transformation, but also the importance of women and their contribution to our society unfolds in 40 photographs. What makes the exhibition “Horizon woman” special, at Tirana Art Gallery is the duality of two eras that completely merge into each other. 

The exhibition will remain open to the public until October 21.
