The jazz festival returns this Wednesday with the quintet made up of students of the Conservatory of Potenza, “Carlo Gesualdo”, who will bring a repertoire rich in the African-American tradition.

The concert will feature the special participation of: Claudia Nigro on vocals, Alessandro Di Stasi on guitar, Antonello Liccione on piano, Carlo Giuseppe Armiento on electric bass and Francesco De Mito on drums.

During two months, Wednesdays at the Opera and Ballet Theater will turn into a tradition of jazz music, with a special repertoire dedicated to all fans of this music.

This comes as a fruitful collaboration between the Opera and Ballet Theater and Conservatory “Gesualdo da Venosa”, Potenza, supported by the Ministry of Culture, the Italian Embassy, the Italian Institute of Culture, the “New Generation” Center and Abi Bank.

This Wednesday’s concert is titled “Ideal Standards”.
